Corey “Big Hoss” Harrison is 28. He was given the nickname "Big Hoss" in part because he has the brawn to go with the brains.
"Pawn Stars" came about as a fluke after a Los Angeles news outlet included the family's "Gold & Silver Pawn Shop" on the outskirts of Las Vegas as one of the 10 best places to shop in Vegas.
Corey Harrison began working at the pawn shop at the age of 9. Today, he is a partner with his father and grandfather, as well as the general manager. Harrison handles the hiring and firing for the store as well as the eBay transactions.
