Lana Parrilla (born Lana Maria Parrilla on July 15, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York City) didn't go into much detail, but explained that her lip injury occurred when she was 10 and was attacked by a dog while sitting with her cat in the front yard; this left a noticeable scar on the right side of her upper lip.
Lana stars in the ABC TV series Once Upon a Time, in which she plays the roles of both Regina Mills, mayor of Storybrooke, and the Evil Queen in the Enchanted Forest.
In its 5th season, Lana Parrilla's character takes on a reversal role. Now that Emma has succumbed to the darkness, Regina would be trying to bring Emma into the light - paving the way to her journey from Evil Queen to becoming a hero.
