How did ernest thomas lose his right eye?
Ernest Thomas lost his vision in his right eye due to amblyopia or "lazy eye", a condition he had since he was young. Amblyopia occurs when the nerve pathway from one eye to the brain does not develop.
Earnest is most famous for his role as Roger "Rog" Thomas on the 1970's sitcom What's Happening!!, which aired from 1976 to 1979. He got his start in professional acting as a Broadway actor in 1974.
Ernest Thomas plays a local town's radio DJ in rocker/horror movie director, Rob Zombie's upcoming film The Lords of Salem. Rob Zombie has confirmed a limited theatrical release sometime after Christmas 2012.
