Our birthday is April 29. It was this date in 2008 that kgb came into existence. We developed from a directory information service called INFONXX that was founded in 1992. As INFONXX evolved and expanded into new areas, the decision was made to rebrand.

MyCalendar Mobile and MyCalendar Free are apps for the iPhone and Android platforms. The difference between the two apps is that the free version is ad-supported whereas the standard app has a price of $0.99 for Apple and $2.99 for Android. As of June 2012, MyCalendar Mobile from K-Factor Media was listed by Apple as the 8th most downloaded paid iPhone app from the iTunes App Store. This was a slight drop from late April when the app was ranked at #6.

MyCalendar was originally an app for use on Facebook. The smartphone MyCalendar apps are designed to work in conjunction with birthdates already noted in the user’s Facebook account. The app is essentially a birthday-reminder utility.
