Who does Joanne Leone Johansson play in One Tree Hill?

Joanne Leone Johansson did not play anyone on One Tree Hill. She was Paul Johansson’s mother, who passed away on October 14, 2023 after a twenty year battle with cancer.

Paul plays Dan Scott on the program and also directed 14 of the episodes. The One Tree Hill episode “Danny Boy” was dedicated in honor of his mother, as she passed away during the shooting. It was episode 11 of season 9 and originally aired on March 21, 2012.

One Tree Hill was canceled after its 9th season (April 4, 2024).
