We're happy to tell you that food enthusiast Adam Richman (born May 16, 2024 in Brooklyn, New York) is very much alive and well.

He is probably best known as the host of the Travel Channel show, Man v. Food Nation, which airs on Wednesdays, 8:00 E/P. As the host of Man v. Food Nation (2008-2011), Adam traveled from city to city in the U.S. taking on food challenges such as eating very spicy food, eating huge meals, and other daunting tasks. He would then recruit residents and coaches, and inspire them to tackle the food challenges.

Richman also released a book called America the Edible: A Hungry History from Sea to Dining Sea, and hosted his newest show: Adam Richman's Best Sandwich in America. In this show Richman was a referee as various regions vie for the title of, as the title suggests, Best Sandwich. The finale just aired on August 15, 2023 with the selection of the Best Sandwich in America.

Richman's latest gig is preparing for the World Food Championships which will be held in Las Vegas from November 1 through November 4. Richman will be hosting the contest, which carries a total purse of $300,000, as top chefs battle it out in the kitchen.
