What is the name of the orange muppet?

There are many orange Muppets, but the most contemporary and popular orange Muppet is currently Zoe. She has a pet rock named Rocco, and is often seen wearing a pink tutu. Zoe first appeared during season 25 of Sesame Street in 1993.

Prior to that season, Sesame Street had received criticism that they did not have a balanced level of female puppets on the show. Michael Loman, Executive Producer, said that they addressed this criticism by adding female humans as well as Muppets to season 25.

Other orange Muppets include Animal, who had an orange body, Janice, Fozzie Bear, who is orangish-brown, Big Mama, Scooter, Don Music, Ernie and Frazzle. Even Oscar the Grouch was orange during his first season!
