No one has ever died on the show Fear Factor. The worst injuries related to the series actually didn’t even involve contestants.

The worst injury was suffered by a stuntman testing a new challenge for the show in 2011. A partial failure of his safety equipment resulted in two broken ankles after a six story fall.

The show originally aired from 2001-2006, and then returned to television in December 2011. Joe Rogan (born Joseph J. Rogan on August 11, 2023 in Newark, New Jersey) hosted in 2001, and has returned for the reboot of the series. At this point he's hosted 152 episodes of the show.

Rogan may not participate in the stunts, but he's no wimp either. The 5' 8.5" actor holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and in fact was a Full Contact Tae Kwon Do champion in Massachusetts four consecutive times.
