At this writing, Judge Judy's latest episode aired on Friday, May 24, 2024 with two cases titled "Mom Got My Car Repoed!" and "Lawn Mower Mayhem." The hit is show is currently in its 18th season.

Her current contract runs through 2015, and a new deal extends her through 2017. That would give her 21 years on the air and Judge Judy Sheindlin, who is 70, is giving no indication that she has plans to retire.

The good judge works 52 days a year and earns $52 million annually, the highest paid person on television. There is no word yet on whether the new contract brought her a raise.

Judge Judy has been the number 1 show in daytime for 2 consecutive seasons. Additionally, it was the number 1 show in first-run syndication for the 2010-2011 season.
