What is nationality?
Nationality is the status of belonging to a certain country by being born, or becoming a citizen. Someone who is born in Germany would have German nationality. An ethnic group with a common language and shared traditions is also considered a nationality.
A citizen of two countries is said to have dual nationality or citizenship.
Eleven members of the Pakistan Parliament were recently disqualified from their positions by the Election Commission of Pakistan because they have dual nationality.
