For my sons 15 th birthday should I get a Ipad 2 or a macbook laptop

MacBook Pro (model MC723LL/A) features a 2.2 GHz Core i7 "Sandy Bridge" quad-core processor while iPad 2 sports a dual-core processor. So we go for a Macbook!
