Is the singer from static-x Ron zombie's brother?

No. Wayne Static is not related to Rob Zombie.

Singer/guitarist Wayne Static of the industrial metal band STATIC-X was born Wayne Richard Wells in Muskegon, Michigan, on November 4 1965. Static (he adopted the name in the 1990s) was an early convert to the guitar, winning a school talent show at the age of seven with a version of 'Skip To My Lou'.

Wayne founded Static-X in 1994 and the band released six albums, the most notable being 2001's "Wisconsin Death Trip," which went platinum.

On the other hand, Rob Zombie's younger brother is Spider One, the frontman of Boston-based industrial metal/nu metal band, Powerman 5000.

Sadly, a message posted on STATIC-X Facebook page on Saturday night, Nov. 1, announced that Wayne, aged 48, had passed away in his sleep at his California home.

In the news, a new update regarding the passing of Static-X frontman Wayne Static pointed out that contrary to the initial reports, the musician's death wasn't drug related.

Tera Wray, Static's widow, issued a statement today on what would have been her husband's birthday, claiming that he did not have a drug problem and that allegations to the contrary were "disrespectful" to his family. Read more at NME.
