How did guy fieri sister die

Guy Fieri's sister, Morgan Fieri, passed away on February 19, 2011, after battling metastatic melanoma for more than a year. She was survived by her brother, Guy, her girlfriend, Annie Antepara, her son Jules and her parents, Jim & Penny Ferry. Before she became ill, Morgan had a career as a massage therapist. She was also the founding director of Guy Fieri's charity, "The Guy Fieri Foundation for Inspiration and Imagination".

Fieri is best known for his Food Network shows, most notably, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Although he was never trained as a chef, he won the second season of The Next Food Network Star in 2006 and won a six episode contract for his first show, Guy's Big Bite. Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives premiered in 2007 and his third show, Ultimate Recipe Showdown premiered in 2008 and ran for three seasons. A fourth show, Guy Off the Hook, also premiered in 2008 but did not fare well and was canceled later that year.

Besides his TV shows, Guy has also written three cookbooks, as well as appeared as spokesman for Flowmaster and T.G.I Friday's. Fieri also owns several restaurants, including Johnny Garlic's, Tex Wasabi's,Guy's Burger Joint and Guy's American Kitchen and Bar.

Recently, he announced that he had bought a vineyard and planned to start a wine company named "Hunt and Ryde", after his sons, Hunter and Ryder.
