Did 1 of the guys from Swamp People die?
Yes, tragically while testing his dream project, a new houseboat he'd been working on for months, Mitchell Guist passed away.
Reports are that he suffered a seizure on May 14, 2024 at 9:00am.
Attempts were made to resuscitate him, but they were unsuccessful; he was pronounced dead a short time later at a local hospital.
Guist was reported as having been either 47 or 48 years old at the time of his death.
According to the History channel they have to concern themselves with his brother Glenn's well being first before they worry if Glenn will return to the reality series.
