What is the first day of bass fishing season in pa this year

The opening day for bass fishing in Pennsylvania this year will be Saturday, June 17th, 2017.

Here are the calendar of events:

Bass-Lakes (Largemouth, Smallmouth and Spotted)

January 1 through April 14 and November 1 through December 31 - 15 inches - 4 (combined species)

April 15 through June 16 - NO HARVEST Catch and immediate release only (no tournaments permitted)

June 17 through October 31 - 12 inches - 6 (combined species)

Bass-Rivers and Streams (Largemouth, Smallmouth and Spotted)
