Chlamydia- painful urination, testicular pain, discharge from the penis.
Gonorrhea- thick, cloudy or bloody discharge from the penis, burning sensation when urinating, swollen testicles, painful bowel movements, anal itching.
Trichomoniasis- discharge from the penis, itching or irritation inside the penis, painful urination.
HIV:
- Early signs and symptoms: fever, headache, sore throat, swollen lymph glands, rash, fatigue.
- Chronic signs such as swollen lymph nodes, diarrhea, weight loss, cough and shortness of breath will be experienced as the virus continues to destroy immune cells,
- Later stage HIV infection symptoms: persistent/unexplained fatigue, soaking night sweats, fever higher than 100.4F for weeks, swelling of lymph nodes for more than 3 months, chronic diarrhea, persistent headache, and unusual infections.
Genital herpes - pain or itching around the genital area, buttocks and inner thighs. Small, red bumps, blisters in the genital and nearby areas.
Genital warts (HPV infection) - small, flesh-colored or gray swellings in the area, several warts close together, itching or discomfort.
Hepatitis - nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, dark urine, itching, fatigue, abdominal pain, jaundice, muscle pain.
Syphilis:
- Primary signs: painless sore on the part of your body where the infection was transmitted, enlarged lymph nodes
- Secondary signs: penny-sized sores over any area of your body, including your palms and soles, fever, fatigue, soreness
- In a stage called Latent syphilis, in which no symptoms are present. It may follow the secondary stage. Signs and symptoms may never return, or the disease may progress to the tertiary stage.
- Tertiary - neurological and cardiovascular problems arise.
