were nick nolte and kathy griffin ever married

Nick Nolte never married Kathy Griffin.

Nolte has been married (and divorced) several times. At 25, he married an older divorcée, Sheila Page. They split after five years because acting kept him a nomad.

"She had two children and I didn't realize it was her responsibility to raise them and not hit the road with a crazy husband," he told People Magazine.

His second wife was then 23-year old dancer, Sharyn ("Legs") Haddad. Six years later, Nolte filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.

Nolte's third brush with matrimony came in 1984 when he wed West Virginian, Becky Linger.

Kathy Griffin, on the other hand, has been married once, to Matthew Moline back in 2001. Griffin filed for divorce in September 2005.

The comedian told CNN's Larry King that her marriage to Moline fell apart after she discovered he'd stolen $72,000 from her. After an attempted reconciliation, the divorce became official on May 17, 2006.

In latest buzz, Kathy Griffin said she was “not afraid to do images that make noise.” But a gruesome picture showing the comedian and reality TV star holding a prop of President Trump’s severed head would lead to an apology after criticism over the shocking photo came from the president’s son, a Clinton, Griffin’s co-host for CNN’s New Year’s Eve coverage, and many more — including, now, the president himself.

In a video posted on social media Tuesday night, Griffin said she crossed the line and that the image was too disturbing.

“I sincerely apologize I am just now seeing the reaction of these images,” she said of the picture.

The president was not impressed, returning from his “covfefe” break Wednesday morning to attack Griffin over the widely denounced image, which Trump called “sick!” Read more at Washington Post.
