Elvis Aaron Presley was born January 8, 1935 and was an American singer and actor. He was Regarded as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, he is often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "The King".

He began his career in 1954, but hit the big time with his song Heartbreak Hotel in 1956, and the rest is history. As well as his huge catalogue of hit songs, he was also famous for movies like Love Me Tender and Jailhouse Rock.
