The real name of Chumlee from "Pawn Stars" is Austin Russell. He's been friends with Corey "Big Hoss" Harrison since childhood.

Chumlee is known for his childlike, fun-loving attitude, as he often wants the shop to purchase items more for entertainment purposes than those that would be good for business. He also tends to be on the side of the customers a bit too much, which often gets him in arguments with store owner Rick Harrison.

He got the nickname "Chumley" because his friends in elementary school felt he reminded them of the cartoon walrus named Chumley on the TV show "Tennessee Tuxedo."
