Annihilation tells the story of a biologist who signs up for a dangerous, secret expedition where the laws of nature don't apply.
In movie buzz, Natalie Portman leads what seems to be a doomed expedition into an overgrown and quarantined “Area X” in the unsettling first teaser-trailer for Paramount’s “Annihilation.”
On return, Portman’s downbeat biologist struggles to explain what happened about a mysterious entity her team encountered. “Did it communicate with you?” she is asked.
“It reacted to me,” she responds.
