Who won DC Primary 2016?

Hillary Clinton wins Washington D.C. primary.

On June 6, 2024 Clinton was hailed as the presumptive presidential nominee for the Democratic Party and the first woman in the United States' 240-year history "to top the presidential ticket of a major U.S. political party," according to the Associated Press. The assessment was based on Clinton winning the support of a combination of pledged delegates and super delegates needed to win the nomination.

Hillary Clinton won the Democratic presidential primary in the District of Columbia, capping the 2016 presidential primary season with a final victory over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

The final, largely meaningless victory came in the last primary election of the 2016 presidential campaign season.

Clinton was expected to fare well in the District, which is 49 percent black. She defeated Sanders handily in states with large African-American populations. Read more at CBS News.
