Where did Eddie Lacy the player for Alabama Crimson TIde go to High School

Eddie Lacy started his high school career at Helen Cox in Harvey, where his freshman year was disrupted — washed away, really — by Hurricane Katrina. It was a force of nature that moved Eddie Lacy from his home in Gretna to a starring role at Dutchtown High School (Geismar, LA).

Lacy’s arrival made Dutchtown coach Benny Saia pretty happy, as in someone-just-handed-him-a-winning-lottery-ticket happy. In his first game at Dutchtown his sophomore season, Lacy rushed for 155 yards and four touchdowns.

In latest buzz, running back Eddie Lacy battled weight issues, fluctuating production and injuries during the first four seasons of his NFL career, but the Seattle Seahawks are taking a chance on him in 2017.

The Seahawks announced the deal. Lacy's agents at SportsTrust Advisors also tweeted he agreed to a deal with the team Tuesday.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the 26-year-old's contract is for one year and $5.55 million with $3 million guaranteed. Read more at Bleacher Report.
