what instagram changes are they planning to roll out?

Instagram, the Facebook owned firm and the no. 1 photo sharing app, is rolling out a new system that ditches the old way -- chronological listings for an algorithm.

In other words, Instagram will now show you photos it thinks you want to see. Instead of sorting posts in a familiar linear order, the algorithm will sort posts based on "the likelihood you'll be interested in the content, your relationship with the person posting, and the timeliness of the post".

It will also consider content you liked before in an attempt to sort images in the order of “relevancy,” or as what Instagram perceives to be of most interest to you.

Small business users are worried that their posts will be drowned out by bigger brands with more clout on the social network. Here's how to make sure your posts still get seen.

Also, photographer Jasmine Star, who just wrote a terrific blog post about this, explains in a video what the changes mean to users and small business owners.
