As per ESPN, Clinton Portis now lives in a two-bedroom apartment in Virginia and, among other jobs, helps with Redskins television broadcasts in the preseason.
Clinton Portis is listed at 5-11 and 205 pounds, but both numbers are probably generous. His size, however, has never hindered him. Clinton’s two greatest assets are his speed and vision. He sees the entire field, and naturally bursts into open spaces. Clinton also has an extra gear that few defensive backs in the league can match, so he’s tough to catch once the goal line is in front of him.
Portis had made $43.1 million in his nine-year NFL career, but most of it had either been spent or lost through investments or, as one lawsuit asserted, bank withdrawals without his consent. In December 2015, Portis filed for bankruptcy protection.
