Is Rodney carrington getting a divorce

Rodney Carrington revealed to a crowd of more than 2,000 fans on the last day of LaughFest 2012 in Grand Rapids, Michigan that after 18 years of marriage he is going through a divorce.

During his performance he told the audience, “We’ve actually replaced tonight’s show with a marriage seminar. We’ve tricked you.” Carrington and his wife Terry were married on September 25, 1993 and have three sons.

A review of Carrington’s comedy routine said that his timing and delivery were clearly affected by the ending of his marriage. When interviewed he said, “I’m in the denial and shocked stage right now. Next week I’ll be in the anger stage and that crowd will get an entirely different show”.

Carrington is currently touring the United States with shows in Las Vegas, Mississippi, Florida, Indiana and South Dakota.
