The Chicago Blackhawks logo is a Native American head with a feathered head dress. It has gone through several changes over the years. There's no confirmation made on what those feathers stand for. Most likely, they are simply elements of the unique design.
Some have claimed that those feathers represent the four Stanley Cups that they have won and question if another feather will be added upon winning the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals 2012–13 season (however the feathers were present long before they won the first Stanley championship cup).
The Chicago Blackhawks team logo was created by Irene Castle, wife of team founder Frederic McLaughlin, in 1926 at the team’s inception into the NHL.
