The line "Even now in heaven there were angles carrying savage weapons" is not actually found in the Bible. The quote was used in the film, The Prophecy.
Douglas M. Beaumont, in his book, The Message Behind the Movie: How to Engage with a Film Without Disengaging Your Faith, writes:
When the Bible is used in movies, it is most often abused. Films commonly misquote references from Scripture, or even make them up entirely.
One character in the 1995 film The Prophecy states, "Years later, of all the gospels I learned in seminary school, a verse from St. Paul stays with me. "Even now in Heaven there were Angles carrying savage weapons".
It does not take a seminarian to know that there is no such verse in the Bible.
