Will Jessica Capshaw be on season 9 of Grey's Anatomy?

Jessica Capshaw has not confirmed if she is returning as Dr. Arizona Robbins for season 9 of “Grey’s Anatomy.” However, with two other major characters leaving the show at the end of season 8, it is unlikely any more of the major names will leave.

Before the airing of the season 8 finale, it was known that two characters were leaving. Until the airing of the episode there were rumors flying about who was leaving and why. The reasons for the characters’ exits were a death and a new job.

The six remaining original cast members have all signed contracts for the ninth and tenth season of the show. ABC has confirmed a ninth season, but has not yet ordered a tenth season.
