Why would you need a "speedicath" ?

A Speedicath is a brand of urinary catheter; it's a small tube that is inserted into the bladder through the urethra, and used to drain urine from the body.

Catheters such as the Speedicath are used when a person can't voluntarily empty their bladder; reasons could include:

Nerve damage that does not allow a person to void their bladder at will, an enlarged prostate in a male, being bed ridden (perhaps during a hospital stay) or even a person being in a prolonged state of unconsciousness, such as being in a coma.

Speedicath is said to be fast, easy to use, and safe because it's pre-hydrated, with no preparation required, and it has polished eyelets and a special coating which helps to minimize the risk of urinary tract issues.
