Why was Liberace's boyfriend in prison?
Liberace’s ex-boyfriend, Scott Thorson, pleaded guilty to a drug-related armed robbery charge. He also separately served 2 years after being convicted for possession of 2 pounds of cocaine.
In 1982, Thorson filed a lawsuit against Liberace claiming that Liberace promised to support him financially for life. That case settled out of court shortly before the death of Liberace.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Thorson claims that he had an intimate relationship with Michael Jackson in the early 1980s, before he released his Thriller album.
