Famous bounty hunter Beth Chapman went to jail for shoplifting and illegally possessing a firearm. She met "Duane "Dog" Chapman when he became her bail bondsman.

Dog and Beth's gain to fame is the eight season run of the reality series Dog the Bounty Hunter. A&E cancelled the show on May 21, 2012 explaining that, "Every dog has its day". The two are coming back to television when Dog and Beth: On the Hunt premieres April 21, 2013 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CMT.

Of interest, the pair recently visited Oklahoma's state Capitol and were introduced in the House and Senate. They are endorsing a bill by Oklahoma City Republican Sen. Ralph Shortey that would make practicing bounty hunting in Oklahoma without a license punishable by up to three years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
