Mazda's latest advertising campaign, launched in February 2012, is dubbed "Revolution". The commercial is promoting their Skyactiv Technology which increases fuel efficiency while also increasing engine performance.
The ad features the song Road Runner performed by Bo Diddley, which was first released in 1960. Bo Diddley was an American blues and rock & roll musician active in the music industry from 1943 until his death in 2008. He is credited with influencing many, including Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, The Who, and Eric Clapton. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
