The man with curly black hair and a top hat in Guitar Hero is Guns ‘N Roses guitarist Slash. He was born Saul Hudson in Hampstead, England on July 23, 1965. At the age of 11, he moved with his mother to Los Angeles, CA. At the age of 15, Slash’s grandmother gave him his first guitar. Despite it only having one string, Slash was able to learn to play.

Guns ‘N Roses formed by Slash in 1985 and secured a record deal in 1986. The band’s debut album, Appetite for Destruction, reached number one on the Billboard 200.

Slash recently started a new movie production company, Slasher Films. He has announced, via Twitter, that he is in the final stretch of writing the score for Nothing to Fear, the first film being produced by his new company.
