Prince Arn's mother is Aleta. Prince Arn is a character in a comic strip originally called Derek, Son of Thane created by Hal Foster. It is a continuation of the comic Prince Valient.
In Prince Valient Val meets a man named Arn of Ord while he is seeking the singing sword. Arn was the original owner of the sword. After their adventure Arn gave Val the sword.
Later on in the story Val marries Aleta and they have their first child Prince Arn named after Arn of Ord. Val and Aleta had 4 other children: twins, Karen and Valeta, Galan, and Nathan.
