which screen is bigger? iphone 4 or iphone 3gs

Describing the size of the iPhone 3GS vs. the iPhone 4 is a little more complicated then a single number can express. Technically, they are the same size, they are 3.5" displays. The difference comes from the specifications of the displays. The 3GS has half the resolution of the 4 (and 4S): 480x320 pixels vs. 960x640. The iPhone 4 also offers a higher quality "IPS" screen. IPS stands for "In-Plane Switching," and it offers a much larger range of viewing angles then standard LCDs do using "TN" displays.
