Where is stanfords Andrew Luck from

Quarterback Andrew Luck was born in Washington D.C. on September 12, 1989. He grew up in London, England, Frankfurt, Germany, and Houston, Texas. He attended Stratford High School in Houston, Texas, graduating in 2008 as co-valedictorian. He was rated highly coming out of high school and recruited directly by Stanford head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Luck redshirted his freshman year in 2008, then played as the starting quarterback for Stanford in the 2009, 2010, and 2011 seasons. He was the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy for 2 years in a row, in 2010 and 2011. Many expected he'd enter the NFL Draft in 2011, but he chose to go back to Stanford for 1 more year to finish his degree.

Andrew Luck was selected as the first overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts on April 26, 2012. He's fully expected to be the starting quarterback for the Colts in 2012.
