Where do you insert water for your Everstar Portable Air conditioner?

Everstar portable air conditioners don’t require water input to operate. They do however produce water as a byproduct of their operation. The water produced is either directed away from the unit via a hose or collected in a tank.

Devices that do require water to function are evaporative coolers, colloquially known as swamp coolers. These will be equipped with a water tank that must be maintained above a certain water level. Some models require the tank to be manually filled; some have the ability to be hooked up to a water supply (garden hose) and automatically monitors its water needs.

Evaporative cooling is a form of air conditioning. Very large evaporative cooling systems are called water-cooled air conditioners.

The term “swamp cooler” is sometimes incorrectly used to describe a portable air conditioner of any type, not just evaporative coolers.
