Where did seneca wallace play college football at?
Quarterback Seneca Wallace of the Cleveland Browns played college ball at Iowa State. He transferred to Iowa State as a junior, after attending Sacramento City College for 2 years in order to stay close to home.
He gained attention in 2002 after a play that is now referred to as “The Run.” During the 12-yard running touchdown against Texas Tech, it is estimated that he ran upwards of 130 yards in the play while dodging the Texas Tech defense.
The Cleveland Browns picked up quarterback Brandon Weeden from Oklahoma State as the #22 pick in the 2012 NFL draft. Although Wallace had previously been unreceptive to mentoring new quarterbacks, he has made it clear that he will mentor Weeden to make sure he is ready for the job.
