In The Amazing Spider-Man game, to unlock five costumes you need to set the system clock to December 2012 and photograph hidden spiders.
The spider locations are:
Along the gazebo roof near the Daily Bugle for Classic Black
Behind the red stairs at Times Square for Big Time
Right of a Central Park bridge for Scarlet Spider
On top of the Beenox building for Negative Zone
Near the Oscorp Lab along the north side for Future Foundation
Once you beat the game once, the Cross-Species costume is unlocked.
