When does season 3 of walking dead start

The Walking Dead Season 3 is scheduled to premiere on AMC in October 2012. Cast and executive producers of the show recently revealed a few of the season’s secrets.

Danai Gurira will play the part of Michonne and David Morrissey will fill the role of the Governor. Merle Dixon (Michael Rooker) is definitely returning to the show and aspirin may be proven to cure zombie-ism. Expect lots of killing. Executive producer David Alpert said, “We’re going to kill people that you care and love, and it’s going to be awesome.”

The Walking Dead video game is coming out in late 2013 for Windows PC, Xbox 360, and Play Station 3. The first-person shooter casts players as Merle Dixon and his brother Daryl. You must successfully battle hordes of the walking undead in a series of quests in order to make it to Atlanta alive.
