When does deer hunting season start in Maine?

Not legal advice: In Maine, the Archery Hunting Season for Deer (statewide) started on October 3, 2013 until November 1, 2013, while the Expanded Archery Hunting Season started on September 7, 2013 to December 14, 2013. Dates are inclusive unless they fall on a Sunday, since Sunday Hunting is illegal in Maine.

Hunting license is required. The archery license allows bow and arrow hunting for all legal game throughout the year. This is required to hunt deer during the regular archery and expanded archery seasons, and also required to hunt turkey with bow & arrow during the fall Wild Turkey season. Learn more here.
