The 2011 show was hosted by Comedian Kevin Hart, and starred Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, and Beyonce Knowles.
The very first BET Awards show aired over a decade ago in 2001; it starred Yolanda Adams, Steve Harvey, and Cedric the Entertainer.
