What’s this new diet from France I keep hearing about?
French physician Pierre Dukan designed a diet 10+ years ago for obese people. His book, The Dukan Diet, claims that 5 million French people shed pounds by following the diet. The 4 phase high protein, low cal, initial low carb weight loss and maintenance plan has hit the U.S. by storm. It doesn’t require food weighing or calorie or carb counting. Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton have lost weight with this diet.
