What's French montana's real name?

The real name of rapper French Montana is Karim Kharbouch. He was born on November 9, 1984 in Rabat, Morocco, and his stage name is a mixture of the names of the French protectorate of Morocco and the character Tony Montana from the 1983 film Scarface.

Though he lived in Rabat, Morocco for the first thirteen years of his life, he's lived in The Bronx and the New York City area since emigrating with his parents and two younger brothers in 1996.

While he's been rapping and putting out mixtapes since the early 2000's, Montana's first official single "Pop That", featuring Rick Ross, Drake, and Lil Wayne, was released on June 15, 2012. His second single "Freaks", featuring Nicki Minaj, was released on February 14, 2013. Though it was originally expected to be released in the summer of 2012, French Montana's debut album Excuse My French was just released on May 21, 2013.
