The visitor from another planet on The Flintstones (1960 - 1966) was The Great Gazoo.

Gazoo was voiced by comedy legend Harvey Korman (born Harvey Herschel Korman on February 15, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois; passed away on May 29, 2008 at the age of 81 in UCLA Medical Center, Los Angeles, California).

The Great Gazoo made his first appearance on October 29, 1965 in the episode titled The Great Gazoo. He appeared in 11 episodes, but Korman also did other miscellaneous voices in 2 other episodes.

Seth MacFarlane was set to create a reboot of the series in 2013, and while it is still planned, it is currently on hold as his schedule is too busy, though he has said that he's actively working on finishing off the pilot script.
