What was NFL runningback Jerome Bettis 40 yard time at the combine?

During the 1993 NFL combine, Jerome Bettis ran a 4.48 second 40-yard dash. Bettis was later drafted 10th overall in the 1st round of the draft by the LA Rams!

The Pittsburgh Steelers Running Back is one of the best running backs in the NFL (5th overall in rushing). Jerome Bettis was also the recipient of the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 2001, and expected to be inducted into the Hall of Fame when he becomes eligible.

The man who traded for Jerome Bettis and those who coached him his entire career with the Steelers do not understand it. Why isn't he in the Pro Football Hall of Fame? How has one of the most unique and productive runners in NFL history not yet been inducted? Read more at Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
