What time does the national zoo in washington dc close
The hours of the Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington, DC from April through October are 10am to 6pm. From November until March, the hours are 10am to 4:30pm. The exception to this is Zoo Lights when certain exhibits stay open until 9pm with wonderful holiday light displays. The exact dates of Zoo Lights vary by year but are generally from around Thanksgiving through New Years. The zoo is closed one day a year, on Christmas Day.
Admission to the zoo is free, but parking is an additional charge. The zoo recommends visitors take public transportation.
