WHAT IS THE PRICE PER OUNCE OF 14 KARAT GOLD AS OF JULY 18, 2011
On July 18, 2011 The price for pure gold was $1,602.10 per troy ounce, and the price for 14kt gold per troy ounce was $871.54. It's hard to believe the price of gold was only $271.04 in 2001 and it was almost the same price in 2000 at $279.11. Jumping forward to this year, the record high for gold in 2011 was $1,920 an ounce!
