What is the name of the pilot from Fire Fly?

In the 2002 to 2003 drama/sci-fi TV series Firefly, created by Joss Whedon, Captain Malcolm 'Mal' Reynolds, the pilot, was portrayed by Nathan Fillion (born Nathan Christopher Fillion on March 27, 1971 in Edmonton, Alberta).
