What is the fastest way to get your G.E.D.
The fastest way to earn your GED, which consists of a total of five exams (social studies, reading, writing, and math) is to take them and pass them without studying or doing any other preparation. Because testing is not available online, you must schedule to take exams with your local testing center. There are 3,400 official testing centers across the nation.
To increase your chances of passing the GED you can attend adult education classes online or in-person that focus on GED preparation, study using CDs, DVDs, text books, and study guides, or take practice exams.
Expect changes to the GED and how it is administered come 2014. The test's five subject areas will be altered to become more in line with the Common Core State Standards. There will also be no more written exams. All test takers will have to take them using a computer.
